if you really want to hear about it, the first thing you’ll probably want to know is we’re a Montreal-based country rock band with influences ranging from Bruce Springsteen to Marty Robbins to Wilco. What really knocks us out is telling a helluva good story, making it melodic as hell and making sure the harmonies are damn smooth and all. The first time we heard Chris Stapleton it just about killed us.
‘Caught in the Rye’ are a couple of witty bastards: Mike Di Re (vocals), Jordano Battista (guitar), Kento Kataoka (pedal steel, keyboards), Jake Upex (bass), and Brydone Charlton (drums).
Listen for our first single ‘Beer with Your Friends’ this fall. You’ll be half in love with it by the time you sit down.
