10:15pm KY BAND (mtl)recent review of their new album The Power is the Pharmacy. so expect something like this. “A genre-straddling outlier punk odyssey, Power Is The Pharmacy is a mash-up embodying soul. A thousand yard stare where socio-political observation, constant power struggles, every day anxieties and fear of loss are themes that provide the foundation to Ky’s array of skewed noise.” - SUN-13 @sun13musichttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KSedcaM26_w@kybandmtl on the gramb
///////
9:30pm IO / Pet Retina (Vic BC)bombastic hyper grind harsh noise featuring io's "you're squishy brain is too slow to actually hear" drumming shenanigans and void puppet's cat whispering thrift store circuit bent pile of harsh electronics making your face 'splode so hard you forget you even had a face but its ok cos we'll clean up after, or rather i'll have to or i'll get fired.@pet.retina on the spamb

8:45pm PARADE (tronno)this is their bio on bandcamp so expect something like this: "Parade is an experimental pop-rock trio based out of Toronto, Ontario and featuring Stefan Hegerat (Drums, compositions), Chris Pruden (Synthesizers) and Laura Swankey (Voice, electronics). Drawing on their diverse backgrounds in jazz, classical, and electronic music, the trio pushes the boundaries of genre and form by blurring the lines between improvisation and composition."@paradeonparade on the hamb
8pm MANNERS (mtl/st lambert)one of the many projects of composer songwriter sound artist Cabral Jacobs. He plays Bass in this angular post punk outfit. riffage to make you question whether all of this is a dream and you're still stuck in the 90's cos the intro to the wedge on much music woke you up from your nap.
